Thanks Sean. Yes, the engine tones are great aren't they. I think this station is a very busy one so there are often multiple trains coming and going on platforms within earshot which combine together, and the closed roof smooth walled nature of the platform spaces means there are good reflections. I will definitely go back to do a full day of recording soon with better mics. It's often the beauty of field recording though isn't it, you only really hear what's there when you focus on listening and record it!
