My first monthly sample pack is now available on the WHIRRINGS Patreon
Yesterday I outlined how I am Supercharging my Patreon for 2026 and one element of that plan is the addition of monthly sample packs.
The first of those monthly sample packs is already available:
Sounds From The Ether is a collection of 32 samples (23 minutes) of sound captured with the SOMA ETHER wide-band electromagnetic receiver.
Noises, buzzes, drones, textures, clicks, pops, hiss. Ghosts from the machine. Recorded in many places. Within these samples are endless worlds for use in your music and art, or just for listening.
These are some great starting points for sound design.

I’ve been collecting electromagnetic recordings for a while now using various pickups and this sample pack is a selection of the recordings I have made specifically with the SOMA ETHER.
